Here is my brand new Zip SP It's a 2008 which has stod in a Danish shop for almost 5 years now. I have always had a weak spot for the Zip SP, and now that I finally have found this in Denmark, I bougth it. The import to Norway did go well also. It did set me back £1300, but what the hell it's my hobby. My plans are to upgrade the engine with a Stage6 Racing 70, Yasuni City 16 and better brakes on the font etc...
Cant go wrong with tuning a bike straight out the box lol. This has alot to live up to after your other projects though Any plans for visual stuff?
nice, gather you're not too bothered about claiming on any warranty and that rear mudguard would have to go if it was at my house
Looking forward to seeing this progress Have you got a thread or any pics of the dragsters? I'm currently building one
The Dragster can be found here: http://www.italjetdragster.com/index.php?/topic/15094-2002-dragster-125-from-norway/
harrytur til kjopte moped! haha excellent! looking forward to progress, let me know if your after any odd used parts, i work in a bike shop in stord and have a fair few spares kicking around for various bikes
nice zip i to have similar plans but i started with a mk1 zip with just 700 miles from new, can i ask why did you did not go with the stage 6 4 pot brakes, are the brakes you have fitted got 4 pistons and is that an oversized disc you have fitted and what did they cost compared to the stage 6 caliper and adapter bracket , who is petit pest i have never heard of him
The disk is stock, but the caliper is a Stage6 R/T 4 pistion. Try send him a message, I did so and got a price for the bracket and Hexagon hub. He sent this all the way to Norway, did just take a few days https://www.facebook.com/PetitPestComponents?ref=ts&fref=ts
Try to fit the Yasuni City 16 today. Disaster, it touches the main stand!!! Anyone who has mont the Yasuni City on a Zip?
do you have to pay a load of import duty on parts when you get them? im new to norway so its a little confusing to me at the mo!
I have a side stand, but won't loose the main stand. Will have find a way to work around the problem later.
You have to pay the 25% Norwegian VAT on any thing over £20. + a £20 fee to the post office for prepaying the VAT.
