Zip repair

i got hit from the back and the engine is the thing thats bent, think it could be the mounts?

 

i would definatly check because i know someone that had simular accident and theyre engine was absolutly F**ked so just have a look and let us know

 

the engine seems fine, no cracks etc, runs like normal too

 

check frame then mate 100% that bent

 

woah thats a fucked up crash mate good thing you are ok!
It would be bad to write off a nice zip like this one since it looks like new.. if the engine mount is bent you should replace with a second hand or a new one since it comes off easily! but if the frame is bent i would reccomend doing what the other guys said above try to find a second hand frame and fix the problem, also you could bend off your frame and then do some reenforcements??

 

could you not take the weld off and reweld to make sure it is not going to snap when you hit a pothole
