ok mate cheers iv done it all now just strugglin withh gettin sum sort of spacer on top so i can tighten the forks up if u get me
hi i have always wanted to do a big wheel conversion and have just seen yours its so sick and was there allot involved in doing so was it a straight swap over with the forks and engine or was there some work involved ect grinding engine mounts to fit engine or cutting down forks ???? and how was the wiring for lights and does it pass an mot like that thanks
Did you notice of it handled much different with the bigger wheels/longer engine? Liking the build specs also
Basically i have a zip 50cc 2010 with pm tuning 360 pipe, i am looking into bar conversions and wondering how much effort was put into doing the lights as you've got them were the indicators go, will the lights pass an MOT also with regards to MC3 bars what was it like putting them on is it straight forward or are modifications needed? Thanks
This has mc3 forks. It wasn't straight forward at all. No the lights wont pass a m.o.t due to the beam direction.
jonny str8 have bought out a new stem that fits the zip spoke to ricky when i got mine and had no issues but i need another new stem as the threads got ripped out
Yeah I know the person who owns this bike, has one on another zip If u look at the ammount of fork what actually goes into the stem, it's quit shocking.
ah fair enough lol, i know when i first got my stem i read that you had to do work to it then spoke to ricky and he told me they had been redesigned so no work was need and i had no issue
