The plastic part for my auto choke snapped while i was riding and it would rev up and try moving by itself so at the side of the road i superglued the plastic part back together and it started fine.. wedgie from the forum had a spare choke so i changed it over gave the carb a clean out at the same time and now it isn't starting.. there doesnt seem to be alot of compression?. I have a healthy spark.. Pretty clueless atm as to what it is so tomorrow i'm going to take the engine out and fit my new 21mm carb with a polini manual choke and polini sport 70cc kit. Might paint the engine gloss black while it's out aswell. Any help appreciated. thanks aaron
If it was runnung good before the choke broke then I suspect there is a fuel problem like a blocked jet or air leak or fuel starvation, deffo carb related.
the sparkplug is a really nice brown though so i dont think its fuel starvation or anything like that.. cleaned the carb out and blew all the jets out :/.. engine is now coming out for a little inspection
