My zip seems to use a full tank in roughly 60 miles, Is this bad ? Or average for a tuned scoot ? Costs me about £13 a time including the price of the oil/petrol...
it costs how much to fill your tank? my aerox takes around £6 in fuel. altho im not sure how accurate my guage is. and i cant say how many miles i get as i havent looked. But for a £17 pound tank i can get 114 miles from a full power rs125 with a 34mm carb etc, thats 114 miles and then it dies of no fuel hence i know lol
full tank 60 miles??? you are gooooooooooodd mate! hope mine was that aswell see what i mean now??? NOT ECONOMICAL!!! xD lol
£13 of fuel based on £1.32 per litre (average by me) = 9.85 litres. lets say 9 litres given yur are puting oil in to that price. so you are geting 60 miles out of 9 litres. 9 litres is 1.97 gallons, for ease of calculation we will say 2 gallons. this means you are geting aprox 30mpg. not too good in my opinion. i know it has been modified but still. i have a modified 200bhp car na that has the same stats as that. its costing you aprox 20p per mile. maybe a slight over fueling, or you thrape it too much or the bike is under a lot of stress, weight or hills etc.
It has a 7 liter tank. Running 33:1 premix. Oil is about 16quid a liter. Don't have many hills around me to be honest. I aint that heavy either. It's not a problem to fill it up. Just seems I put it in one day later I fill it back up.
my old 50 aerox used to do me to college and back for a week on a tank and a bit and it was a good 30 min drive either way. but that was a stock 50. the minute you start playing with spec is the minute you start paying for the spec LOL
Tell me about it edgar ive hd a 172 in my bike for about a month and half and ive probably spent more on petrol and 2 stroke already
i had mine like for 2 or 3 months now and the most fuel goes when you ride in town.. traffic lights etc, i dont have the exact numbers yet but when messing about tank dont least 2 days
Yep worth it. The money don't even bother me. It's sitting there in the petrol station like a twat filling up then premixing.
