hi everyone, i just recently bought a Polini super speed variator kit for £65 and i got a dealer to install it for me with the 4.5G rollers 9 of them and i dont feel any difference in accelaration and top end is less than it was. :confused:cratch: it is a stock zip50sp apart for being derestricted and obviously the super speed kit..... PLZ help it has also been upjetted like 3 times

lol if they sound too heavy then how come it increases revs very quickly when im not going that fast. and ye i am planing to do more. i think im just gonna take the variator kit off and sell it if anyones interested. and then buy a gianelli extra then hopefully a malossi 70cc

lol up-jetted for a variator... what sort of a dealer is working on ur ped here not a drug dealer isit??

If your airbox and exhaust and bore are standard you need a 56 jet fully de-restricted.

The polini variator wont do anything do a standard bike you need more tuning bits mate ;)

Good luck though, zips are awesome peds I got 1 too :)

naa it was upjetteed because i had a dead spot apparently and it now has a 60 jet but it doesnt matter because im gonna get a malossi kit and a gianelli pipe soon.

Ah rite yea a 60 jet should work alrite, dead spots are caused by rollers/clutch springs not really on jetting unless its way off.

With a 70kit, pipe and your polini variator you will see much better performance once setup correctly.

Try a new manifold aswell, the standard ones have a small port which restricts the fuck out of the bike, when i got a new 1 with the bigger port my bike performed much better! you can even cut a bigger square out using the stock manifold.

if your planing on buying a pipe and and 70cc kit then keep the variator.

if will help when your upgrade other parts, alone it wont do much as its apart of the drive train that dictates how the power is put down, not how much power is made.

for power you need to look at the combustion side of tunning ie bigger bang, more fuel, better waste gas removal etc so cylinder, carbs and exhaust etc.

remember most dealer's are not tunners so don't expect them to be experts when it comes to aftermarket upgrades
