What should I put my valve clearances for the in and out ports at? I've seen posts saying 0.1 0.1 but for a regular 50cc it is 0.1 0.15. Why would you make the out port smaller if you put a bigger cylinder on your engine?
Valve clearance is set regardless of CC, the exhaust clearance is always slightly bigger due to it getting hotter, expanding and making gap smaller. I always set valve clearance slightly bigger than factory setting as I've seen carbon build up on exhaust valve seat due to not closing properly.
Just give it a little bit exrta on valve clearance especially exhaust, at worst it will rattle a little.
