So I've currently got sym euro jet running with 6g rollers. My question is, would putting lighter rollers in, which supposedly increase acceleration, stop my bike bogging down going up hills? I'm a big fella, 6ft 2in 14st. So as you can imagine a 50cc going up a steep gradiant slows me a tad haha. Or is there another solution I could use to help me.

    Cheers.

My bikes got 6g rollers in its alright. Maybe u should think about jetting it slightly. But if it only ever bogs uphill then im not sure. Need more power!

it may be the belt slipping mate. I have had the same problem on my rox , it would struggle up hills but I changed the belt and its fine now

    Maybe clutch springs

Well that would be something I'd have to research, wouldn't have a clue what to get.

As for the belt I doubt its that as the belts pretty new.

What problems would faulty clutch springs cause?

if the revs are high going up hill and you have no speed, increase roller weight, if the revs are dying out the steeper it gets then go lighter... rollers are NOT a choice between top end and accell... the wrong side of the correct weight will REDUCE top speed or acceleration :) have a few sets spare, have a [play

Cheers mate. Think I'll go with lighter as mines dying out with no revs whilst up hill.
