I went down stairs and the garage smelled like gasoline. It was the scoot.
The drain line from the air box was full of gas.
I pulled the carb to clean the float jet, and the cylinder was full of gas right up the the intake.

Yep, I think it was flooding.

I disassembled and cleaned the carb.
While the front plastic is off I decided to check the valves.

When I start the thing for the first time I am going to have a fire extinguisher ready.
Do the Chinese make anything worth a shit by themselves?
I know they can perform to someone else's quality system. Yamaha, Honda, Onan, and many others have stuff made there that works fine.

Why the hell can't they produce a quality product on their own? They are smart people.

Watching youtube videos by SERPENTZA is informative. He is a young South African now living and working in China. He posts a lot of daily life in China. The videos explain why they believe they could sell something like a TANK scooter, and not have to worry about repeat business. Half assed is good enough.
