YAY SRing again

The SR is finally running again with new piston, rings and slightly modded barrel. YAY. now the weather has gone shit.

anyway, heres a couple of pics of the damage:




I blame VE, if they had sent me my piston kit when it was orderedthen this wouldn't have happened and my barrel would have survived.

it's the end of the top ring that has broken off and become part of the piston

I had a 250 Suzuki where the rings did that one day. One piece of a ring snapped off and turned round into a port, seizing the engine instantly.

 

i had a simelar thing with my rs125, the powervalve dropped into the barrel at 10,000 rpm. made a mess, sliced the piston in 2
