as it says at the top, i`m going to upgrade my pipe from a technigas which came with the bike, to a yasuni r or a c16. if i go down either route am i going to have to get my barrel tuned? i don`t want to spend mega money, but have a few quid spare. And also, will my new 19mm carb suit these pipes ? your thoughts please( especially minors as he appears to be the authority on these things).

    cheers from dan

you need a kit to make the most of ether of those pipes really... altho a r will work wiht a 50. if your planning on getting a 70 kit (probably cheaper than porting your kit/getting a decent piston/machining the head) then you can buy the kit based on the pipe your running... a c16 will basicly like aa REAVVIER kit than an r or a z... this is down to the timings of the kit.. the stock kit has the same timings as the iron kit's (polini iron is bombproof) so the r will work on ether.. the c16 likes it wound up, people run rep's altho these actually have the same timings and head as the iron, theres 2 extra exhaust ports tho and its ali...

id honestly go for the 16 and grab a kit while your at it.. if you dont wanna grab a kit (or might in the future) get the r as it will work wiht more than the 16 will (most imp[ortantly the stock 50 kit)

complicated answer, but its a complicated question... and i cant belive i answerd it... AGAIN :rules:

    LOL

I would get the c16 too even with that tame malossi cylinder it will work better than the r. Im sure in the future after your malossi is dead you will go with something faster and the c16 will work much better with that kit than an r ever would. Or if you really want to upgrade a 21 would be nice.

    a c21? on WHAT?!??!?!?!

didnt see the title.. if you already have a 70 kit get the c16.. then you have scope for a better kit once the iron go's (none last forever) dont get a c21 LITERALLY unless you want to run high end kits, no centrestand and rinse through rings..

c16 all the way, not the best on an iron ktik but it will work, you can port the kit or replace it at a later date.

dont use them....... cheaper el;sewhere and they dont tell you to "fuck off" when you ask for advice on parts sold (like adrenaline do) buy parts from shops who actually stand by there products.. not take your moeny and run.

there all in the links section...

scooter centre, scooter attack, sip, scootermatix (uk) all have them in stock.. even the euro shops get the stuff to your door quicker than most of the useless british shops... plus adrenaline like to sell stuff befor they order it and leave you waiting for weeks...

but ye, all the reputable and recomended dealers are in the links section, if there not there generally people have ether had bad experience or there just not known well enough to trust wiht money. we are unbiast and make nothing from recomending alternatives.. the only reason we recomend you not use the shops stated are down to previous experience.. just recently (yesterday) i heard a story of sombody spending 700 odd quid wiht adrenaline only to be told to fuck off and stop ringing when there bike didnt work.... this is plainly down to a clueless idiot who knows fuck all about scooters or building engines making a fair ammount of money through ebay/his site...wiht no parts backup.. fact is ive had one problem wiht a euro supplier, and it was sorted instantly at no cost to myself... wont get that service from anyone else hence i dont recomend anyone else.

get into the links section :) were not recomending them as were paid to.. its just because there quick, dont fuck you about and are usually alot cheaper.
