I've just got my Yasuni R! I love it! Bare in mind it's a bit of a prick to de-restrict.

Pedparts provide a service for de-restricting pipes, at the price of £8

Ordered Yasuni r from pedparts with derestricting. Should arrive tomorrow :) can't wait lol just woNdering when to paint it. Should I run it for a bit, take if off then paint it, or sand it when I get it and paint it? Advice please :)

They don't come painted so I'd do it before you put it on

Yep. Best way to do it is to remove all the lacquer but that's a pain in the arse. I've done it a few times before though.

I agree with paint it before you fit it.

Came today and did have a laqour on. Just smoothed it off with fine sand paper to get it off and cleaned it and painted it matt black. Looks mint and sounds minter ;) well chuffed with it!

I dunno about yours mate.. It's only a thin layer but you can defo see there's a bit of something on it. Don't suppose it would matter if you just painted straight over it but I don't know..

The other month I got a Yasuni C16 from A d r e n a l i n (I'm not sure if it was restricted as it was fitted by my local scooter guy, along with the now seized head & piston).

My Yasuni rusted up really quickly, within a week or so, so It's been pained now twice by me.

if it was a c16 not a city c16 it wont be restricted.
