yamaha neos newbie in kernow

hi guys
im turning 16 in just over a month so i desided to get my first ped a 2003 yamaha neos alpine editon which needs some work but i work at a boat yard so no real problems there i just have one problem with my bike i cant get to the bottom of

my issue at the moment is electrical i can't seem to find a problem anywhere
the thing is I'm not getting power from the battery to the dash or electric start as the bike functions exactly the same with the battery terminals removed i have checked with a multi meter most of the loom and i can't find a fault i also tried a new relay to no avail and the battery is at 12V so any suggestions give me a shout
