    Hiya guys :)

my neos has the following mods installed :
    leovince tt deristricted exhaust,
    4.3 gram rollers,
yellow clutch springs (came with exhaust),
    deristricted,
cone k&n style air filter (with socks at the moment ).

i think the standard jet is 60 ,
i was just wondering on how much i should up jet to stop the bike bogging without socks over the airfilter, im guessing it bogs becasue the standard airfilter is restricted slightly therefore when you stick a airfilter on it sucks in to much air.

i think its a 5% upjet recomended after new exhaust so that would be a 66 jet,

how much should i upjet roughly after putting a new airfilter on and deristricting so i can buy a small set of jets ??

im expecting around 70 - 85 but i wanted to make sure first , please if you know get back to me soon i want to sort this this weekend as rain and socks dont mix over a airfilter :L.

this will be simmilar to jetting a jog or a aerox or a slider.
althought everybodys jet setup is slighty different depending on parts :)

if there is a guide i havent come across please link me

Over the years iv'e wasted more time and had more hassle than you can shake a stick at gettin 2 smokes to run right.. so figure it out yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!
only kiddin mate as for your ped it will be fine with your standard air box and a slight up jet,way better than an open filter, the reason for the sock is the k&n is pulling way to much air and running weak for what your set up needs so putting a sock over it restricts the airflow causing it to run a bit rich, hence a better responce... anyway we did an areox with the only mod being a yasuni pipe up jetted to 75 main runs fine.. came back later with a big foam filter had to jet up to a 110 main to get it owt like, drinks petrol like no tommorow. magic word 'PLUG CHOP' . liam

    ahahhhaa!,
the only reason for the new filter was it sounds beafy and covers up the horrible 2stroke 50cc noise lol,i have got the standard box but would prefer a new filter .

can you please explain to me how it uses that much more fuel i know it would be running richer but the bore is still going to pull in the same volume of fuel/air mixture,
also will it over heat with a higher jet??

i also need a amplifyer to finish my sound system ive got two 320watt jvc 6x9's just need a amp to run them , anybody had any experience??? anybody got a amp for sale?? they do 500w amps on ebay are they any good???

ok , so fuel wise its not quite like running a ferrari 9mpg etc.... but there is a good noticable difference from a 60 jet to a 110.. hold them up to the light and look at the hole sizes, remember a ped is nearly always on the main jet.. it will only run hot on a weak mixture not a rich one, thats why you always run rich and jet down not visa versa....is your amp owt to do with playin that rappin bollocks.im a led zepplin sorta guy.

cheers mate that helps alot , hopefully if i can be bothered lol , i will go to my local bike shop and buy half a dozen jets , then try them out , ive never taken a scooter carb apart before, ive watched someone elce do theres tho so i think i will youtube it to make sure i am 100% on what im doing first ,and yes i know how they work :L

basicly ive got a pair of quality 6x9's sitting about and wanted to use them , although after reading the forum i would be better off useing 12v pc speakers if i dont want to kill my poor battery every week lol,

also then i can hide them in my front pannles , keeping my storage space :)

i will let you know how it goes :)

    Stupid question.
The Aerox stem, does it fit straight onto the neo's forks, or do i need the aerox forks aswell?

Make your own new post about your question. You cannot hijack someone else's about what you want to discuss. Its not even a related question

Lol, look at the new member stating the rules to me.
I asked him as it was discussed in this thread.
Saves clogging up the forum with additional threads.

    Time to lock thread.

Surely as a long serving member you should know the rules better than most. The post is totally unrelated you must concede? Therefore you need a new post.
