    Anyone got any opinions on these scoots,got the chance to have one on an 05 plate with low miles,are they a nice thing,and reliable?

    I can only talk about the engine, let the lads give you the low down on the ped. Being an R, it is an air cooled Minarelli horizontal engine.

    Depends what you want it for, as a winter commuter, good engine bar A roads. Plenty of tuning parts available. :)

    Thanks Guns,it is a winter hack for when I dont want the sh300 getting salt all over it,just want to know Im not getting a lemon!:eek:

    They are very small! Make sure you fit on it properly.

    Yes, they are a small machine tErrO,But I like it,and I think I can have fun through the winter with the little bike.:)

    Well I have picked up the jog,I think the previous owner must have had it derestricted,it runs the original exhaust,but reaches between 40 & 45 clock mph,does that sound about right,as I have not looked at the variator yet to see if the central collar is still on it,but the exhaust has had the small external tube on the downpipe removed/ blanked off,so now to get it going a bit more,70cc sport kit most likely.
