yamaha aerox project

my aerox project looking rough but coming along bit by bit , need to get the new parts on it and finish off some painting

 

looking good , you got any more plans for it ?

just planning to get it on the road and have is pretty quick for a 50 really ,gonna do some cleaning on it tomorrow and load up some more pics. i hope to get a zx exhaust and wack some 6.5 rollers on maybe get a polini clutch but probably new springs and just tart it up abit it looks abit shabby atm .

 

couldnt get it polished up as everything was covered in ice but got it running better and covered my first mile

had a good day riding covered 2 miles i know its not allot but it has no mot tax or insurance and i dont have a leicence so thats ok , its all standard on the engine so lacking power kept revving up and down going up hill and it kept loosing speed , top end needs improving so plans are leo vince zx , polini carbon reeds , new rollers and clutch and tension springs

 

having a problem with my carb its keeping revs above idle then drops so i dunno wats happening ill take some more pics as the project continues

 

changed my crank and bearing the other day and its stopped , the bearings where riding abit freely :/

got my leo vince today but im gonna have to up the jet quite allot the size of the hole at the end it much bigger than the standard lol should be sweet when its done

nice, did you use chrome polish cutting paste for that?

 

i used some wire wool to cut away at the rust but im not shure on the polish ill have to look at it tomorrow i sprayed some stuff aswell but didnt take any pics :/

 

just put my new painted water pump , starter and crankcase on , just have to repair the tyre on my new back wheel then ill put them on

well since christmas i have pretty much stopped my revision and school work to get the project finished i have been working my ass off to get it into a minter when about 2 weeks ago my mate told me his mate was selling an aerox for 50 quid coming to my sences i got it and when i collected it it had fuck loads of tuning parts i mean fuck loads 2 stage six gear up kits 2 polini 70 kits polini variator 2 sets or polini carbon reeds 2 70 cranks 2 race clutches and a dellorto 19 ml carb and i got a bike an extra engine 4 wheels 2 seats and some audio shiz and standard parts with that so i started to switch the parts onto my bike and well everything has gone wrong since :/ well i put the carbon reeds kevlar belt and the tuned clutch on my bike and it didnt go well had to revv the fuck out of it to get it to move so i took the clutch off and put the standard on and it seemed ok then i lost the slider tube for the polini variator so i cant put that on then i put the gear up kit in now there is a rubbing noise :/ and then there was a tapping from the engine the small end bearing had gone so i have pretty much for the last week been getting oily greasy and cold trying to fix roxy on the plus side i robbed some renthals off the bike and all my pannel work is finished just got to finish my engine work and get my koso clocks then im finnished YAY !!!!!
