This is for my mate, not me
i know there is loads of posts which are the same about this,

    my mates setup

    Athena 70cc bore
    moto force crank
    3.6gr rollers
    21mm carb
    technigas R sport exhaust

    hes having problems with it
when he accelerates, the bike bogs at a certain speed
he said approx 30-40mph, he dont know if this is due to Jetting, rollers or whatever
hes checking his jets today, and then i shall EDIT this, if its due to jetting, should he down jet or up jet ?

    Thanks for your help

    Joe

IS the exhuast 70cc compatible? Some race pipes dont work very well with upgraded cc kits

    drop the roller weight slightly

next person that says "check what colour your plug is" whena bike "boggs" will be banned.... most useless peice of advice out there

its rollers, always is rollers, always will be rollers wiht these, you can run them rich/lean as FUCK without it bogging, TRANSMISSION stall is what people usually refer to as bogging, an auto can only "bog" if the transmission puts more load on the engine than it can produce (basicly its like changing gear too quick in a car....) fuck all to do wiht jetting

Some race cans dont work very well with bigger bore kits, Something to do with sizes of the exhuast etc.. Alot of race cans are designed To give a big compression boost for the 50cc engine and not a 70cc upgrade. The type of exhuast you have can make the world of differance with the power bands and response etc. I know this as its something i have come across in the past and it was resolved by changing to a more sutible pipe!
