Yamaha aerox bogging problems?

Right I am looking at swaping my speedfight for this aerox which has 70kit fitted, although he says when it gets to 30mph it boggs downs and cutts out does anyone know why he says its been upjetted it and its running an aftermarket airfilter and a leo vince TT exhaust, I know that exhaust is not made for 70kits but would it make the bike bog and cut out?

 

could be too big main jet maybe? or too small? its impossible to know over the net. i prefer speedfights to aeroxs, mainly because i hate anything made in italy (now comes the whole forum shocked at me liking a speedfight!)

 

That exhaust will work just fine on an aerox. If it bogs and cuts out at 30 i'd guess the main jet is too small, but as scubabiker says, it's difficult to say without seeing/hearing it. You need to have a play. or take it to someone to setup for you.

 

I love my speedfight to pieces but 17 in November and everyone says to get an aerox because there no point putting a 70kit in a speedfight?

 

just get a 125 then (can you still do that or is it a seperate test now?) its better to get a nice 125 than to piss about with a moped, mopeds dont have the best build quality and 125s are built just that little bit better to live a bit longer. just my opinion
