Yamaha Aerox 50cc Not Starting????

    Hi there

    My Aerox 50cc will not start. I replaced the Crank Shaft, Piston, Rollers And clutch springs. I think the mixture is wrong but am not sure could anyone tell me what the settings are for the air/fuel mixture and the idle screw and is there anything else that i could of gotten wrong. thanks all help appreciated......

    it was running but it was nakerd... the crank shaft was broke so i changed it for another standard 1. same with the piston and the clutch springs and rollers are after market. thanks

    there isn't a setting for the idle,it is what you want it to be.. as for the air screw go 2 turns out from fully in as a base setting and work from there.once you get it to idle something like, turn the mixture screw in or out until the engine revs pick up and settle then adjust the idle to suit. thats about the best i can explain it on a forum.you really need hands on.

    ok mate thanks for that but is there anything i could av done wrong whilst changing the crank shaft ? and is there any earth wires that are supposed to be attached to the frame or the engine ? if so could anyone tell me where they are supposed to be please. thanks

    can anyone help me please :beg: I've spent about 3 days on this bike and it still is not starting. i tried everything from earthing frame and engine to negative on battery to setting the carb up. the air/fuel screw by putting it fully in and turning it back out 2 full turns that didn't work so i went up in half turns and still nothing it tried to start a few times but never did. any ideas lads :beg: PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

    this may sound stupid but when you put the engine back in did yuo suck on the vacum pipe so the carb gets a bit of fuel till the engines running and can vacum its self
