yamaha aerox 50 water leak

    hi there my aerox 50 has a water leak coming from the middle of the crank cases and was wondering if anyone could tell me whats wrong with it or how to fix it ? and it will go 50 for a bit then it will die off to about 30. what could that be ? thanks

    engines pritty fucked then.. stop riding it and have it rebuilt.

    Is it a complete engine rebuild ? and what new parts would I need to do it ? Thanks

    Parts wise, probably just a new crank gasket (you could also use threebond). You'll also need new oil seals, crank bearings a top end gasket set. Tools wise, you'll need the usual sockets, etc. a flywheel puller and probably a case splitter too.

    I think that's everything. BTW, I meant crank case gasket, not crank gasket.

    they dont have case gaskets, you just use instant gasket or a waterproof sealant.

    TOOLS:
    socket set
    screw drivers
    allen keys
    circlip pliers
    rubber mallet
    flywheel puller + holder

    PARTS:
    crank
    Main bearing + small end bearing
    crank seals
    top end (depending on condition)

    cost me £160 for parts + tools so not too bad
