unscrew that jubilee clip on the manifold take carb out of it but leave rest of wires attached turn it upside down take float bowl off imp: (its gunna leak petrol at this point) The main jet will be the middle one
It will say on the jet when you take the float bowl off mate or say the year on here and someone should tell ya
it is an 86 main jet they are standard ive had two aerox's and 1 nitro and they all had 86 in them what setup you running? for god sake dont take the carb of the black intake manifold and clean it as the washing stuff you use if you clean it will go straight it the engine cover the inlet hole and outlet hole for the carb when you clean it, i would advise thinners or maybe degreaser nothing to flammable like petrol or parafin to clean the outside of the carb itself, as this is a carb were talking about here only after you have cleaned the outside of the carb you may aswell take the flot bowl off carefully, I save petrol and put it all back in the petrol tank. the main jet will be in the middle the largest in diameter ,circular object with a notch for a flat head screwdriver to undo it and dont put the new main jet back in unevenly (on a tilt) or put a different sized thread in -i did it and it cost me a new carb :emb: what spec are your running? exhaust, cylinder etc?
manual choke? lol i thought they stopped producing them on the rox after 03? unless its a conversion I dunoo i maybe wrong 92 seemed like a pretty decent size when i upjetted try that or maybe a 90 the aerox carb is called "dellorto pbhn12" as in 12ml, and I know the pbhn series uses a dellorto 6mil thread ordered one off scooter-attack and it turned out to be the wrong size, so be careful even when you order the right size or your looking at a new carb make life easier and go to a bike/scooter shop if I were you expect to pay around £3 max, dont pay anymore its pointless when you can get 10 on scooter-center for a tenner check the new jet by eye first of all and see if the thread looks the same if so screw into the carb lightl with very clean hands and redo the carb bottom back up (float bowl) by the way make sure the seal on the carb is in place, the o-ring type on the rox tends to come out of place sometims on the plastic bowl and make sure the rod holding the float is not sticking out too far at both ends otherwise you cant screw the bowl back on right its pretty simple really to change just 1 or two practises
