hi all i have got a 2002 aerox which has had a pm tuning race clutch fitted, racing reeds, performance airfilter, size 95 jet, leo vince tt exhaust, in the variator i have put in the rollers and clutch springs which came with the exhaust and i also think it has an unlimited cdi i am not to sure but it says on the cdi athena. after having all this done my bike will only do 40mph on a flat but when i pull away my bike is revving quite high can anyone help

jet is too small. Put the airbox on and rejet. sounds like your clutch springs are too tight. what weight rollers you have ?

Yamaha aerox have a wire coming off the cdi that restricts them to 40mph mate if that hasn't been cut it wont budge past 40mph read up as I am not sure which wire it is you have to cut but it defiantly has a wire restricting it

Try putting the airbox on and see if that works try a 72ish jet. Also did you de-restirct the TT ?

because a open filter on a 50cc just uses more fuel. It's more than likely underfueled. I bet if you put a airbox in it'll run much better, By anychance does it bog down on full throttle ?
