Okay, so as some of you may have notice from my past threads my Yamaha Aerox was leaking fuel from the Float Bowl as it was broken. This also made starting the bike in the morning an absolute killer. Anyway, after 4 weeks of waiting for the float bowl, it was finally fitted to the bike and there is no more leaking and the bike is starting brilliantly! I also stated that the bike was over-heating after the pipe was fitted to the Aerox. So when the bike was taken down to the Motorcycle Repair Specialist I told him about it and he assured me that the exhaust is not the reason why it's over-heating. So he drained all of the coolant and checked for any air blocks in the tubes and there must have been a bubble in the tubes which was stopping the coolant from passing through to keep it cool. So the over-heating issue has been resolved as well as the fuel leak. & He also told me that he really doesn't think the bike needs re-jetting with the Doppler. He said the only time he has known a 50cc to be re-jetted is it it was having a Polini £300 exhaust fitted on it, because they are very powerful pipes. And finally if the acceleration doesn't improve then we will go for lighter rollers. So yeah, just a little update on the bike. No one probably cares, but if you do then hope you like it the story so far. Hehe.
try taking the bike to a scooter repair specialist, even the smallest changes on a 2 stroke engine can affect how it needs setting up, also after putting a sports exhaust on your bike it will need re-jetting and the rollers playing with.
