i havent got them on my 360hdd. they on my laptop. i connected the laptop to the 360 using wireless and can stream films/music through the 360 from the laptop
You can connect an ipod to them with one easy download that pops up when its plugged in. It seems the iphone is so gay it cannot use this feature. Edit: Oh and Linux on the PS3 works like utter shit. The very few that are out for it are a pile of wank to put it lightly. You cannot access the graphics chip using Linux and you only get very restrictive access to the other hardware. It also has only 256mb of ram which as you all should know is pretty useless for anything. Xubuntu: Just plain doesn't work properly. You can't even use it as a good enough web browser let alone anything that the PS3 can't already do. It runs at a lower res than 720p. Yellow Dog: Works a little better and has a better install but still has no codecs for pretty much anything and is more useless than the PS3. Only wired internet too. openSUSE: Pretty much the same as the others. No sound, no wireless, crap resolutions, lock ups, etc. So all in all a complete waste of time for something that allows you to do FUCK all.
I've been trying for ages to put music on my hard drive I put a CD in (Not a copied one) and it just goes to the music player. I can't find a copy to hard drive button any where
Are you blind?! You just go into the media player and click "Rip CD" which is right below the control buttons.
fedora core 5... uses less ram than xp to load.. perfect and sony recomended.. face it, microsoft suck and any product made by them will be "specific usage only"
Fedora runs at 576 x 384 res, takes years to load anything as it's not coded for the ps3 properly at all, cannot play mp3 files or most video files, yet again no 3D as well.
bruv, run it befor pasing judgment.. had over 1024 out of a ps3 in fedora core 5.. new driver updates are usefull.... ether way its fully compatible with ALL linux software.. log into msn on a 360 or shut up
I've logged into msn on my 360 many times. Theres a big difference between compatible and actually running properly in a way that would make it any more than a gimmick. It's like running Linux on a Ipod... You can do it but not to a point it's worth while. Edit: And they only run PPC Apps which is hardly "ALL Linux software"
