well if youv'e had your xbox from new then you can,
you ring up microsoft and complain about your controller not working so they send out a new one, and thats it pure and simple, my brothers done it loads and had bout 8 sold a few of them too.
if your lucky enough they may send an 'appology' pack in which my brother got a free wireless controller, wireless headset and a free game of his choice

 

will that work even tho ive got it like 3 months ago? will they know i got it 3 months ago?

 

manufactururers guarantuee covers it for a year doesn't it,so you could ring them up every month for the next 9 months if you want mate
