No way I am putting my goods on top of a boiler.
What happens if you crash. Nothing good that's for sure.

Didn't one of these blow up and kill the guy who was riding it in the early 1900s...

I am surprised it didn't cook the fool that made it. Bad ideas can make you crazy. In this case crazy and cooked.

Think about it, the whole concept of a motorcycle is dangerous, you are pecariously perched on two tiny bits of rubber, with an area no bigger than 4 square inches touching the road, then you shoot along a fatal speeds, even round corners, add to that other people on the very same road, then all this danger is topped of by the engine, a box full of red hot moving parts, all located just under a tank full of flammable vapours and liquid

Nice looking machine, but couldn't these guys figure out a design that would not explode in your face or under your goods? It is a beauty.

Yea, but I would rather deal with explosive gasoline that is more or less contained. A full head of steam is a bit more dangerous than setting off one explosion at a time in a cylinder. These guys were still using leather for seals.
