Hi, im looking to use my spare moped off road, so theres no platsics, just a seat, frame, engine and wheels. I was wondering what wiring was needed to just run the engine? thanks :wave:
you need the above 3 aswell as the kill wire. on a piaggio this is a green wire that runs to the ignition switch, the switch needs to be earthed (black wire) bike running and wired up, substitute the switch for a crosser type kill switch if you wanted... bear in mind threads like this are pritymuch "how to steal a scooter" instructions, so i cant help but stress that most bikes have immobilizers, wich stop this kind of thing working. if yours is a speedfight as i assume from your pictures, your gonna need to include the original ignition key, aswell as the immobilizer halo and associated cdi wiring.
yeah its my spare speedfight i got two of em and nah im no thief haha just want something i can just blast about on over fields and the pit and quarry infront of my house and so im still gonna have to keep the cdi and immobiliser and ignition? Theres so many wires go into those lol
