Was on my way back from town and it began to absolutely hammer it down, But I've road in rain before so I shrugged it off. I was going down a road near my house, and it was very slick, a car in front of me braked very sharply, and as it hit my front brake (daft mistake, but it was split second decision unless i wanted to go through his back window) the front wheel locked and just chucked me off. And the bike just slid down the road and left me haha.
Spent 2 hours in A&E waiting for an X-Ray because they thought I broke my wrist, And by time it got to me they closed the X_Ray, so they booked me for the day after and splinted it up for me, But I didn't go.

It's smashed my carb and tor my manifold some how.
Shouldn't take long for me to fix it, bit of sanding down and spray the whole ped again.
Or might just go but 2 new panels.

You should have gone back to hospital, your wrist may want "re-setting" if a bone has broken, other wise it will heal back in the wrong place. Ive done this twice, and now Im stuck with a permanent broken knuckle and dodgy right knee, I now wish I went to hospital.. Broke my elbow too but I went to hospital for that, and guess what its as good as new!

Be careful in the rain in future, Zip SP front wheels are known to lock up easely under heavy braking. Its due to the single arm front fork, but the ordinary zips do it too just as bad.

Those panels should clean up nicely with a bit of sanding and a re-spray! You got lucky!
