Hi any tips on keeping your scooter in good condition in the winter and rainy weather ?

 

wd 40 for the electrics and 3 in one in a spray can for the rest!
Roll on spring. i have had it with this weather.

 

Haven't done anything to mine haha, if i don't use it for a few days I give it a run for 5 minutes. The thing I hate most at the minute is how my exhaust is looking. It's a bloody rust magnet so it'll need a good clean up come spring

 

Yeah mine is the same any tips for cleaning the exhaust?

 

Gonna rub it down with steel wool, or something similar. See what my dad suggests as he would know properly

 

ACF 50 .... Clean your bike & spray everything wit it (apart from breaks stay well clear). We use it on the quads. And a few peeps do a once a year coating on there bikes. Have a look on YouTube for it ..... It was developed for aircraft.

 

And everything means plastics / engine / wiring /exhaust .... just watch if you have any decals on as it will work its way under them.

 

Have ACF 50, use it on the jetski engine, brill stuff

 

Wash off the road grit with water, it destroys metal if you dont wash it off
