yh was buying a delorto all the time just thaught maybe that might save me some money but ill take ur advive cheers
it wldnt fit on2 the manifold, wldnt fit on the airbox either , most likely that all the jets would be the wrong size , the petrol oil vaccum pipes etc wldnt fit, throttle cable probly wldnt fit and i doubt those carbs have a choke on them
it was just a thort but throttle cable would fit yes they have a choke you could use a airfilter witch there ment for anyway but bad bits of my idea are u would have to buy a manifold and modify it onto a standerd manifold or make something up so it will fit an aerox manifold and u might find it hard setting them up but on the other hand would save yourself around 60+ pounds if you were lucky
its ot about saving money... the scooter scene is expensive so if you dont have the money dont get into it(not saying you dont hae the money) also its about quality with a dellorto you have a piece of mind but as for them chinese carbs you will have to get through 4 or 5 of those carbs which you could have bought a decent dell for
spose yh i understand i have the money its just i no people are only on 50s for a year and was only wondering if one would work or has any1 ever used them
tunning a scooter costs peanuts.. :msn1: just too many people wont even spend the equivilant of a set of wheels for a nova in parts an do a proper job.
Some of those Chinese carbs are utter shit. A bloke over on CSC had a carb prob with his new Chinky bike. He bought a new carb, but soon had probs again. When he opened it up, the alloy of the carb body was flaking off and blocking the jets. Some are OK but you can't tell till you've bought it.
