Hi all, just wondering if someone can clear this up for me. I'm just wondering if one of these: https://www.pmtuning.co.uk/Merchant..._Code=01-LV5581&Category_Code=PIAG125EXHAUST1 Will fit a Piaggio Typhoon 125 ac engine ok? Website says liquid cooled only but guy's trying to sell me one and says it'll be fine. Obviously would just like to make sure. Cheers, Matt.
They are fucking terrible. http://www.scootershack.co.uk/maxiscooter-tuning/leo-vince-zx-125-t19596.html I've seen one on a typhoon with a lc engine but that's about it. I've also seen scorpions, malossi exhausts, PM59's, PM55's and none of them list that they fit on a Typhoon... As i've said before everything fits on the engine but it's all down to clearance with other parts. The air cooled cover, engine mount, etc. The only exhausts which fit for sure on a typhoon 125 engine in a typhoon 125 are the Kundo, PM52 and Tecnigas. Other than that you will never know for sure. It's all part of modifing a bike the fact that you have to modify parts and bits of your bike to get them to fit.
Are they really that bad? To be honest I was really after your Malossi, or something at least near that however a bill has screwed me over big time and left me about crippled on the money side of things. Only problem is my standard exhaust has snapped before and been bodge welded so I'm just pretty much desperate for a half decent can! As long as it will fit the engine fine I'm sure I can do any sort of modifications to covers etc and if not I'm sure I know someone who can.
