will a kx60 kx80 carb fit a gilera runner fxr180. even if i set the carb with same size jet as runner 180. im just after a cheaper way round gettng a manual choke carb rather than spending £170 on one im proberly sounding like a dum s**t here but any info will be decent
£170?! It's about £75 for a Dellorto 25mm carb. The carbs aren't similar at all but depending on what size it is you could get it to work. It would be a pain in the arse to setup however as you would probably have to change all the jets, needles, etc. Much simpler to buy a carb that's more suited.

There are places other than eBay to purchase parts you know. Part no: R2731 http://www.dellorto.com/merchandise/products.asp?CategoryID=2&PartsectionID=20 There is probably cheaper out there too.
25mm carb = £75 http://www.scooter-center.com/scoweb/pages/productdetail.grid?product=288621644825520 Manifold either £17 or £13 depending on if you want straight or angled. http://www.scooter-center.com/scoweb/pages/productdetail.grid?product=288621640249200 http://www.scooter-center.com/scoweb/pages/productdetail.grid?product=288621640249712 The difference between the very expensive carbs and these are most carbs are premix so you have to mod in an oil feed but that's a very easy job. It's actually a very good idea to run your bike premix anyway as the oil pumps love to fail.
