will a gear up kit make an improvment

will a gear up (primary) make an improvment on a zip which already has a variator, 21mill carb and a leo vince tt exhaust?
is it worth buying

 

with a standard 50cc bore?

 

if a good 70cc kit is on it then yes

as the 50cc standard barrel wont put out enough power to gain the benefits of the gear up kit (e.g reaching that kind of speed)

 

kk i aint using my 70cc bore coz it makes a whistlning/loud sqeeking noise wen i rev....i fink it mite be da gears but i aint sure.

 

doubt its the bore whislting could be down to the rings or mains coudl be past best and the extra cc putting pressure on it

make use of your 70 bore using a 21 mill carb and a 50cc bore and a gear up kit is hardly going to do much lol

 

on mine when i turn the idle mixture screw all the way in it whistles lmao, probably carb settings mate
