well it started when i rode down the road, within a minute it was bogging, spluttering, got worse and cut out at the end of the road and wouldnt start for shit.

took it home, checked for a spark and it had one, cleaned carb etc and checked reed block, all was good so put it all together

then a mate swapped the plug over with the aerox one and guess what... it started but ran like shit, its near unrideable as it is, full throttle it just bogs, at slight throttle it does move at 10mph or so, if i pull the bodged manual choke it will make the bogging noise but will go a bit faster

i took the reed block off, it was wet around it with petrol, so i thought it was ma problem, cleaned it up and coated it with paste gasket, reassembled and it still runs like shit, the bog is like a deep induction noise

its really fucking me off now, i need my bike for college and its my last day tomorrow and i havent got any money for the bus, really wanted to finish riding peds on a good note but its not looking good atm :wtf:

anyone had a similar problem? cheers for any input

blocked jet, needle clip came out, choke but id put my money on rings (assuming the transmission is in good order) it would have progressivl;y got worse if it were a transmission prob, just check all your wiring an try out another cdi just to be sure

just checked the coolant tank, tis empty

so erm yeah... thats probably it :wtf: how long does it take to cook the rings with no coolant? would have thought it'd go slowly? :(

ive got a spare piston with rings and new gaskets in the shed so not too bad tbh, just tomorrow fucking around lol
