fresh member on the forum, english is not my main language so forgive me if i cant spell properly ^^ i recently rebuilt my aerox engine, and after installing the 70cc piston on the new crank i noticed that my wristpin bearing (12x17x15) have 4~mm side to side play. and since this kit will run high rpm´s i cant imagine this being a good thing. the widest bearing i can find is 16mm wide, but will that solve the issue?
Early Lambretta's used shim washers at the little end to stop side-side play, I suppose you could try the same thing making some light weight washers? ID is 12mm (wrist pin) ? so OD could be 14mm? Worth a thought!
