wich 125cc

ive been looking alot at ybr's and cbf's. shouldnt really but i like the look and there perfect for what i need

 

the ybr`s are nice bikes to ride tbh, I think im swinging more that way now ive found the solution to the gearbox issues, but im going to have to get a cheap £300 ped and ride that for a bit

 

Ive not heard of any gearbox problem, and I work for a yamaha main dealer, another 2 to think about are the yzf125r and the wr125, same engine in both, not had any problems with them (well there was a fuel pump recall on the yzf)

 

ahh, but yzf's are bloody expensive

 

curlyblakeybiker had a issue selecting 2nd from 1st and when he did it clunked in, its a issue loads of people had from what ive been reading and it means a full oil change (id do regularly anyway) but its bloody expensive everytime it happens and some people have had to do it twice a month.

going to take my time looking at 125`s now, im in no rush because i didnt get that job, gonna get a little 50cc to putter about on while i find the right 125, i really like the yzf125r tbh but the insurance costs scare me

 

my vf has trouble between first and second (well it clunks), all bikes do, its the two gears you use most, the selector barrel thing gets a bit worn is all

 

my 125 clunks its way into first, abit disconcerting when the bike wants to lurch forward

 

ive never ridden a bike that does that ? hey ho, prob one of those things id just get used to, 50cc first though for a run about then find the right ybr
