Why an airbox is more efficiant than an open filter.

    yup, i wrote it about 3 months ago but terro still hasn't put it in the guides section.

    Hence bell-mouths on race engines...

    its also down to the internals to counter this 'back pressure' which is why you get oil/fuel mixture building up in your airbox/filter with standard carbs.

    So is this where boost bottles come in? To remove reverse pulses?
