Hi all just a quick one

On the GF's brothers moped twist the throttle back and it takes awhile before it gets going, is this down to rollers or clutch?

It's got a motoforce 50 plus kit fitted but I think it has a clutch from when it was a 70cc, it's got 8.5g rollers and standard is 9g

    Thanks

Roller seem way too heavy, try 5g, and clutch springs seem too strong aswell mate

could be any number of things. You have to go through the motions. I know what i'm doing and i just spent about 3 hours sorting out a neos that wouldn't pick up properly.
Firstly drop the rollers to 6gr.
You can always go heavier afterwards if needed.
Make sure the belt has some slip on it, it shouldn't be tight when it is stationary, you should be able to move it between the pulleys easily with your fingers. Shim the variator if necessary.
Put some stronger clutch springs in.
Finally, play with the carb jetting with the air filter on and off.
