whick pipe PM55 or SCORPION

hi, dont know whick pipe to get im gona run it with 172 25mm carb and all the over needed parts im gona buy the pipe second hand and the Pm55 is £50 more whick is better performance

scorpian does not do anything performance wise does it? only astheticly

 

PM is your best for performance

BUT its not gonna last

the BEST all round pipe by far is the standard one.

 

i love the pm55 but it breaks alot but the noise when not broken is ok
the scorps give lil extra power but i dont like the sound
the stock pipe is brill for a every day bike

 

Theres a dyno graph knocking around on a couple of the forums,

that shows that although the scorpion doesnt really give much at all in the way of extra peak h.p...

it does give a useful slug of extra mid range torque, which is handy if fitted to a stockish 125....

The PM55 gave the most peak h.p on a stock 125 Dragster, followed closely by the PM59...

But apparently the 59 goes better on a 172, so im led to beleive!!
