depends , light colored primer to make it lighter or vica versa, a white or gre would prob be best,, if your painting plastics its best to have a plastic primer
thanks man i have Grey primer for the body works, hopefully it will be just fine (Y)i was thinking white primer but my nan just went out and got me some Grey thanks.
white but grey will do jus be slightly duller .dont use plastic primer either unless your doin the inners in wich there a slut to paint .
o and post this in gen scooter discussion or summink dude its only a project if you put some pics up and say what your guna do and label it spraying my bike blue project GAHHHHHHHHH keyboard
it looks like you didnt flat the primer in those pics, did ya? on primers though, you only need it if you painting on bare plastics and not over paint. it light coat will help to even the tone of the panels before painting though, otherwise you'll be using a lot more final colour to get it uniform. get yourself some P1500 and P2000, flatten that paint you've done before laquering it and then five it a final coating of blue. it will look a lot flatter and less textured, then laquer it with a few coats and when dry you can flatten the laquer the same way. then tcut it to a shine and finish it with wax. you'll have a lovely finish then.
Heyy ive done it all will upload some pics in a min.. what wax or type should i use? i didnt even know i could put wax on thanks bro !
Looks good. as far as wax goes, have you polished it yet? if not id reccomend getting some blue t-cut and giving it a good hard polish. then when thats done you can give it a final run over with some sort of wax, any decent car wax will do, I like the autoglym ones.
Ahh sweet okay thanks man! it looks better in person cause you can see all the pearls when sun shine on it but you cant over the pictures ;(.. thanks again for input
