ok just taken a bp4es out of my sr125 it states a br8es in the ngk plug book, but i know the typhoons run a b9es but its the same enginge :wtf: so which shall i use as i recall minor saying the br8es runs at the wrong temprature or something?
all i know is typh's dont like the 8's atall and its 9 in the haynes/piaggio book. might be a diff coil on the sr tho. using a 9 wont harm it if it is an 8 anyway. or use an 8 and see if it blows out quick, if so back to br9es just befor anyone asked iridium tipped are a waste of time
must be coz its a stocker m8.. i know NO piggy engine will run an 8 if its 172.. well, will last 5 mins
4 is a fuken hot plug, Don't run one. Even a 7 is a bit on the edge for a hard ridden scoot. An 8 will run most.
B is 14mm thread, P is projected electrode. R is internal 5K resistance, 8 is heatrange, E is 3/4" thread depth, S is a normal non race internals. (from memory)
NEVER EVER run a "P" projected plug unless you have to. Their purpose is to burn off deposits in engines that would otherwise foul plugs.
my runner needed a 8 to run.... my runner 172.... dunno why... but if i ran a br9es the plug would fuck up a few days later...
