Ok so my rollers, jets and clutch springs have arrived. They only sent one set of rollers and the jets are the wrong size but at leat I have one set of rollers to try and the clutch springs.

I got a set of polini springs but I have no idea which ones to try first.

    They are colour coded

    Original - Lowest charge
    Green - medium charge
    yellow - Highest charge

Which ones would you suggest I use with my stage6 exhaust, size 70 jet and 4.5g rollers?

    Cheers.

Right I have the thing back together.

It kicks over fine and ticks over fine for a while then it seems to get weaker. At first it seemed to be running but the acceleration was very weak and then it conked out completely. It takes a while for it to kick over again and when it gets going, if you touch the accelerator it dies again.

Never thought an exhaust upgrade would be so much hassle lol

Advice pleeeease? I miss my scoot :(

Ok i'll have to try that in the morning.

Another is that the kickstart exploded apart when I took the cover off so I had to put it back together. Not knowing wtf they are set up like I may have done it wrong. It works but now the variator seems to be making contact with it and making a god awful noise. How do I sort that out?

fixed the kickstart but it appears that their is no petrol flowing into the carb. The line is not blocked so what else would cause this?

    cheers

    no petrol?

if there is petrol in the line, pull the carb out and clean all the passageways.

what makes you think there is no petrol getting to the carb?

Because the fuel line was dry on both ends, didnt appear like anything was passing through.

But WOOP! I got it sorted.

It starts fine now but it accelerates really slow compared to what it was like when I had stock rollers and springs on. Does this mean the rollers are too heavy? I didnt upjet yet either so is that also a factor in altering the acceleration speed?

Also does the new exhaust make it suck in more air? When I accelerate I can hear a distinct hissing or sucking sound.

Yep the rollers in are 4.5g dropped from 5g. I did order some 4g rollers too but apparantly they were out of stock and did not inform me. The airbox appears to be fine and its hard to tell where the sound is coming from as it only does it while I am accelerating

I'll be upjetting next week as I ordered the wrong size jets...doh!

ok so which size jet do you recommend I try first? It has a size 70 in as standard and I have sizes 72 74 76 78 to try.

With the standard 70 jet, upgraded clutch springs, and lighter rollers it is underpowered and loses speed up hills. It picks up slow but is hitting about 45mph top end.

    Will jetting sort this out?
