I want to buy a 125cc scooter that I won't kill (I'm 20 stone) and that will get to and stay at 50 mph. Any ideas?

Peugeot Elyseo. Or something like it. It's a maxi scooter so will give you more room for yourself as well as a 4 stroke engine for better reliability.

Every modern 225 will carry two normal sized people at 50 so it's not really an issue. Just make sure you're comfortable on it

Its a chinky, stay away from it. Only by a bike from a well known trusted brand such as yamaha, honda, gilera, aprilia, suzuki.
If your going to buy a chinese import then you may aswell just give up on bikes before you start

Pioneer have a Lexmoto Valencia in stock so I am going to look at it this week. According to it's spec it has a lower seat that the Gladiator which is good for me and a max load of 249kg which is really good.

It was down to being a 16 year old lad who just got his first scoot, complete novice, obviously never done it before.. So it was just a mistake, everybody makes mistakes, ask your mam n dad they made a massive mistake many years ago
