Malossi make almost everything from reeds and carbs to cylinder kits and gears for the Kymco.
Polini make a few parts for it.
    Athena make variators etc.
Exhausts at the moment are limited to Kundo (not worth it) and Leo Vinci TT (works well on the Super 9 A/C with the right setting up)

All can be found on the VE website.

You will need a machine shop to remove the variator restrictor on the std scoot as it`s machined onto the centre pin and not the normal slip on washer!
Kymco should supply a new centre pin without the restrictor if approached although Im not sure if they only release them to dealers?

    Hope this helps.

Lol! It was an old boy (well in his forties.....hmmm bit like me then lol!) who bought it to commute to the train station instead of useing the company Beemer and was gutted going every where at 28mph, a bit of tweaking and a pipe and we got it up to 55 without straining the engine, havnt maxed one out yet and not sure how they`d react or last, strange engine..similar in ways to the Pug or Honda X8R with a bit of minerelli thrown in.

Here in the States, a unrestricted variator Pin comes with a new Scoot, all you have to do is take out the restricted one, and throw in the unrestricted...
A club member bought a used Kymco People 50, and had to order a unrestricted pin....Didn't have any problems getting one here....went from 29 to 44mph...
