im a cyclist myself (when i aint got a ped) dont really mind em when im riding, always othertake with plenty of space etc, like us but slower and without a engine..
ones that are sensible im more than happy with, as scootz said, there not that dissimaler from bikers. and i bet ive seen some faster than my ped
most days when im cycling im a lot faster than most traffic just sometimes were a bit slower and cant exactly help that I see both sides of card tbh cos I ride both motorbikes and bicycles so I know how id want to be treated on the road when im riding a scoot so try to treat cyclists as id want to be treated myself. tbh nowadays I find myself overtaking most other cyclists on the road and Ive only got my crappy Raleigh wich I got for free
lol just thougt id ask as wen ever i ask a car driver they are up in arms about how the road isnt ment for pedestrians with wheels lol i cycle aswell but only 1% of that is on the road ... you gotta be crazy or stupid to cycle on the road everywhere you go plus ... a cyclist is less likely to be hit by a car if they AREN'T wearing a helmet aparently car drivers will give cyclists more space if they havent got a helmet incase they knock em off ... but if your wearing a helmet they'll drive straight for ya lol
i ride on the road 95% of the time, if a car driver doesnt like me on the road they can kiss my rear, bikes were there before cars. is my view, no reason why we cant all get along, helmet thing isnt always true, ive been hit a few times by cars. their favourite excuse is always sorry mate i didnt see you (SMIDSY) and then theres drivers who must get in front (MGIF) when they really dont need to, i have a video on youtube of a tranny pulling out on me then out of shot he stuck his finger up at me. most drivers are dicks but you get the nice people, motorcyclists tend to be the nicest ones tbh
also ive found car drivers in general tend to be a hell of alot more carefull when its crappy weather such as rain and snow
why not? were here before cars. ok theres some dicks that let the good ens down, same with car drivers. attitude like that then i guess your one of the dumb fucks who likes to try and run cyclists over or push them off. would you rather we rode on the path and almost hit you doing 30+mph? no? didnt think so.
