I need to sell my aprilia sr125 as I passed my theory test today and need to get used to riding a geared bike again , Its a 2000 aprilia sr125 that's done 9100 Kms , its in the factory racing paint and in great condition has had new tyres and the dreaded engine mount bearings where replaced last month , Its taxed and mot'd until April 14 and is a very nippy 2stroke scooter What should I be asking for it ? I can't post in the free adds either ? Its completely as it left the factory and never been modified . I have a hpi clear certificate for it and full v5 You won't find a cleaner sr125 I guarantee it
Is say ask around 650_700 if its as mint and factory as u say and u can't post in the ads section because yr post count is less than 100 mate and gears r u mad? Lol
I love the bike don't get me wrong I may even keep it , just want to get back in to gears so I fly through the direct access course and et on my zxr400
Sr 125s are going up in price as they r getting rear seen them go in condishions like yours for about £1000
Unless you need the money asap I'd keep it for awhile. Prices for 2 stroke 125 scoots like that and the Runner are only gonna get higher with time, especially for completely standard, un-molested ones like yours.
The problem is, no matter how clean your sr is, not many people like the styling, and even though they bassicly use a AC gilera runner engine, not many parts fit due to clearance problems, I'm not sure, so I'd say most you'd get is £900 if someone's really interested in it.
Sold it for £600 Friday morning probably well under priced but went to a nice older bloke localish and won't be thrashed On to bigger and better things
