Bought one the other day but realised i know theres nothing much up with my speedfight, and i know whats been done/needs doing etc, and i know nothing about gileras so considering selling it again,

Runner 50, V reg, 16500 on the clock, tax and mot ran out last month so none present, i have the V5 and key. Purple/Black, standard pans.
Runs, but from starting cold, it needs revs to be kept up for a bit to warm up, then it'll tick over all day (left it ticking over while i made a cup of tea, super noodle, went to the toilet, had a phone call haha) and come back to it still ticking over fine.

    heres a couple of pics.

So, if i was to put it back up for sale, whats it worth? thanks alot

In the condition judging by the pictures, which it looks very good for its age.. Id pay no more than 500 with new tax & mot... Without tax and mot Id pay no more than 300.

Keep hold of it, as I said it looks to be in good nick for its age and theres always the chance your speedfight will break down someday, then you can use the runner whilst fixing your speedy.

Or you could use the runner as a nice little project, cosmetic wise Id leave it alone but a few engine mods and a 70kit wouldnt be a bad idea!

And if you know how to work on a speedfight, your'll know how to work on a runner too.. The bad idle when cold sounds like an easy fix, see if the throttle cable has any slack, if its good then it'll just be a idle screw adjustment, once the engine is fully warmed up turn the idle screw IN, about 1/8th of a turn each time untill the idle picks up slightly... Let it cool down then see how it idles when cold, it should idle now.

Nice bike thou! how much did you pay for it??

    well i paid £150...

yeah the engine will be fine from cold with the slightest, literally just so the throttle cable engages (you know how theres sometimes like the slighest freeplay, jus after that) - sounds like its ticking over not actually revving, but yeah will try tick over screw.
