wrong, they both come restricted to 11kw which is what you are allowed to ride on @ CBT level.. with L plates of course however you can get them to full power (33BHP/ 24 KW) which then makes them of course Illegal to ride them with a provisional liscense and a valid CBT certifictate both shit engines made of chocolate as minor puts them and they require ALOT of attention e.g. complete yes, complete top end rebuilds every 10,000 miles and to vaildate a warranty on the newer ones you must use GENUINE APRILIA PARTS... want to know how much a piston and barrel set will cost you? £750 - (you can buy another RS125 for that) - http://www.maxmoto.co.uk/aprilia_rs125.shtml as minor says If you want to buy a nice geared two stroke before they all die and get molested try and get your hands on a nice JAP bike e.g. a NSR.. they require top end rebuilds at around the 20,000 mile mark and a complete kit with gaskets the lot will cost less than £250, maybe £350 if you want your garage man to do it... such as: NSR/NS/MTX/DT/DTR/DTX etc etc.... failing that buy a scooter!
