lol its tiny (well its tall but very thin) an weighs in at 130kg which is light as fuck, when id been on my cbr for a week an then went on a rag on the DT, it felt like a pushbike with an engine seriously! but yeah its got suspension and is very comfy, nippy little thing at the time would do 85 on the speedo

ive seen an o7 plate dt aswell i think what happened was that the 2 stroke law came in (i think in 03) and alot of 2 stroke bikes were no longer produced like the nsr, what actually happened with the nsr was that they ceased production in 03' but some over stock still remained until the very last one in 05. people are wrong when they say that the nsr was no longer produced after 05 it was 03, the same might of happened with the dt i dont know...

dt is properly one of the most reliable and fun 125s out there though.. when you get bored of the road you can unbolt the rear plate and go greenlaning, across the commons. and youll cover the land so quick the police wont have time to come out and catch you. bore kits are expesive though an athena one is 380+ plus postage

i thought a 172 kit was expensive lol, the best exhuats fro them are the dep ones and a full kit will cost around £250, they are good bikes tho no doubt in the world about that

theyve been around since the early 70's so what does that tell you?

think about it, its been tested by mcn too. you want to go for something with shit loads of torque that wont be restricted by the 33bhp, be much quicker a 33bhp r6 would be wank.

Yamaha DT are learner legal and there not to bad to be fair, i had one in mint condition 2001 model. nice and easy to ride aswell but i preffer the supermoto so the DTR125 is the one to go for i think

yeah but if you get caught its basically the same as not having a licence or insurance because he isnt legal to ride a 33bhp bike.........not that it bothered me, i road around on a 250 with a "L" plate on so what the f**k lol

im not sure on prices of a nice DT but mine was a 2001 model with a full DEP pipe 12 months MOT + 12 months tax and sold it for £1000

exhaust is restricted (downpipe and back box)
power valve is restricted, was already derestricted when i got it so cant tell you how to remove it.
and there is a restricter in the speedo, unplug the white box with the wires in

dt's are over the limit de-restricted
