bigger carb if mine is only 12ml
    variator
    belt and gear up

i want good performance but reliability

anyone fancy giving me some idea's of a good set up!

    got around 200-300 to spend

go on the barrell and exhaust guide

Then go on Guides at the top, and read.

If you can find the Stage 6 pipe in any of that, I'll eat my own shoes (steel toecapped boots as i've just come in from work :p)

    good point rofl

but SA or somewhere will tell him if his Pipe is sport or mid-race or what not

then u can read on guides, and use your general knowledge to know what sort of setup he wanted.

but yer more than likely be the usual 21mm etc etc

Well the Replica and the Pro are said to be mid race pipes, but the pro has quite a bit more poke. The R1200 rivals a c16 roughly and the R1400 rivals a C21 yasuni.

As it's a budget setup i'm gonna say it's a Replica, so based on that i'd guess Polini all the way (iron 70, variator, etc) but it should be a 17.5mm carb, get a 21mm if it's a 12mm though ;) Leave the gear up for now too should be good enough to leave the clock at that.

I'd suggest a malossi MHR or polini Corsa for that pipe if you want reliability, it was designed to match the Stage 6 sport kits which make similar power to them cylinders, only trouble is you'd be wanting a new crank with it too. Might be worth trying a Top Performance 70 kit as thats supposed to be a bit more revvy than the malossi or polini iron equivalents, or there is polini's aluminium sport kit.

    The PRO...or

    The PRO-Replica ???

    Pro produces better power...

pro-replica is e-marked and hence copper friendly!!

if its a sports pro you could get the stage six racing kit from scooter shack although its single ring but if your not confident with that you could get the mhr rep or corsa, with a 19 or 21mm dellorto carb

Hehe only kidding, great pipe (scooter attack rave it) but best if you've got the money for the rest of the setup to match, which personally i ain't.

well as copper friendly as your gonna get....

e-mark means it comes with restrictors fitted as std and is a direct swap
    for factory pipe ;)

getting caught doing 55mph may take a little more convincing :pimp:
